Electricity Projects Undertaken by the Chimaroke Nnamani Administration 1999-2003
So far the governor has executed 120 rural electrification projects while many more are at various stages of completion.

Enugu East Senatorial District: Rehabilitation of vandalised 33kv network in old Nkanu communities - Akegbe-Ugwu, Obuofia, Obe, Umueze, Agbani, Akpugo, Amagunze, Nkwo Nike; Replacement/upgrading of transformer sub-station at Eha Amufu, Attakwu

Enugu West Senatorial District: Rehabilitation of vandalised Iwollo-Aguoba Owa, Umumba Ndi-uno 33kv lines

MAJOR PROJECTS
Ovoko Rural Electrification Project The Ovoko Rural Electrification Project at Igbo Eze South Local Government Area is one project that has touched the lives of the people of Ovoko, just as the ones executed in towns and communities adjoining Ovoko namely Ibeagwa, Umuida, Ichi, Umeadu and Obimo. Chimaroke Nnamani has continued to enjoy the support and blessings of the community. Each of the projects has a transformer that costs between N30 million and N40 million and is connected to the national grid.
