LOMA
LINDA HOUSING ESTATE: The quest for
affordable housing for low income earners has led to the recent flag-off
of
the Loma Linda housing project as a complement to the urban renewal
programme of the Nnamani Administration. The programme has seen the
delivery of the hugely successful executive-type housings like the
Ebeano Estate, the Golf Estate, and the Permanent Secretaries' Quarters.
Loma Linda is a composite estate comprising nine apartment blocks
of three floors, each containing thirty-six two-bedroom flats (making
a total of 324 flats). It boasts of extra facilities like 109 parking
lots, road network, police post, standby electric generating plant
and
