ROAD RECONSTRUCTION: The welter of mega projects being executed by the Chimaroke Nnamani Admistration notwithstanding, road reconstruction remains a driving force of the governor's tremendous public goodwill. Since January 2005, a good number of roads in Enugu metropolis have witnessed total reconstruction and major facelifts. These include the Abakiliki Road, Okpara Avenue, Park Avenue/Parklane Specialist Hospital access road, Ogui Road, Presidential Road/O'Connor Street, Okpara Square/International Conference Centre access road, Achi Street, Aguleri/Court of Appeal Road, Ezilo Street, Onu Asata rouns about, Others are the Neni Street, Awkunanaw Street, NTA/ESBS Road, as well as Ozalla, Afikpo, Nnaji-nwede, Achina and other streets in Achara Layout, amongst others. Also billed for construction is a bypass from Kingsway Road through Udi Siding, UNTH Chest Clinic to Coal Camp. Below are pictures of some of the rehabilitated roads.
