FEBRUARY 3, 2005: RENOVATION OF THE STATE SECRETARIAT COMPLEX: The flag-off ceremony of the painting and renovation of the State Secretariat complex was performed by Governor Chimaroke Nnamani, represented by his Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Dan Shere. The programme is one of the many fruits of the partnership between the State Government and the United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID) which has the overall goal of reforming and repositioning the State's public sector for efficient service delivery as well as the enthronment of due process and transparency.
