MAY 25, 2006: History, as Enugu's ultra-modern Land Registry Building and Land Information Management System is commissioned, thus revolutionalizing land administration and documentation in the state. A reform initiative of the Chimaroke Nnamani administration, the project is a result of strategic alliances and aprtnerships between the state government and the British Council's Security, Justice and Growth Programme (SJGP), and the State and Local Government Programme (SLGP), both funded by the British Department for Internationa Development (DFID).
